About Us

An observation-led home in North Phuket

The Lake Phuket Elephant Home offers meaningful, observation-led elephant experiences in a peaceful natural setting in North Phuket. Our focus is on responsible elephant welfare, education, and authentic local experiences. Guests learn about elephant behavior, individual personalities, nutrition, and daily care while spending time with our local guides and mahouts.

Unlike traditional elephant attractions, our experiences are designed around respectful observation — no riding, no bathing, no forced interaction. One of our most unique experiences is kayaking across the lake to observe elephants from the water, a calm and memorable perspective surrounded by tropical nature.

We believe understanding elephants means understanding the people who care for them. Our programs include storytelling from local guides and mahouts, giving guests insight into their daily lives, traditions, and long-term relationships with the elephants.
